At the age of nineteen she went to College in Santa Barbara CA where she majored in Film and TV Production. She moved back to Switzerland and studied Media and Communications at the University of Fribourg. Simultaneously she was working as a Video Journalist for a MTV You Tube Channel. Furthermore she was part of a play at the City Theatre Bern (Stadt Theater Bern). Lia moved back to the US to pursue her dream of acting and studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in Los Angeles and later on at the Hollywood Collective where she took voice over classes.
